About Us
Since our inception in 2012 Conquest has seen an unprecedented series of growth that has completely transformed youth football in the Southern half of England. Despite being owned and managed by a team boasting no-one over the age of 26 the level of achievement is unmatched.
We began running Sunday League Teams from the 2013/14 seasons with just a solitary U15 side. In our short history we have enjoyed a relatively large degree of success competing on a range of fronts for various different trophies. Our current U16 team actually spent the whole of last season (their first ever season together) undefeated in their league and were resultantly invited to the Aces National Tournament in Market Harborough were they competed to a very high standard. The most recently won the U16 Middlesex County Cup.
Further to this, our current U16 side have competed against a number of academies this season, most recently playing against AFC Wimbledon’s U16s and beating them 4-2; a notable achievement.
The club pride themselves on developing high quality footballers and moving them onto professional academies/clubs so they can achieve a full-time career from football. Notable past players of the club are listed below; Toby Sibbick and Great Nii-Okai Evans have signed full pro and U18 forms respectively with AFC Wimbledon, while Micael Fatela has also been snapped up by Paris SG's U18s. Kyle Wilson (Leyton Orient U15s), Jessick Bonilla-Hurtado (Reading U14s) and Jaami Qureshi (Brighton U13s) are the others.
We have developed a team of coaches and a coaching procedure that offers children an opportunity to flourish like no other development setup, anywhere. We provide comprehensive training in the requirements to take your child's game to the next level. This includes extensive work that goes into players both on and off the field play.
For our next exciting venture we will be taking all of our players out of their comfort zones and competing on a purely competitive basis against only professional academy sides. Offering a calendar of professional academy fixtures will leave our players prepared mentally, technically and physically for the next stage of their football development. Further to this it offers an opportunity that cannot be found anywhere else in non-professional sports.
